Financial Aid can assist families with the cost of a Lincoln University education. If you would like to receive financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This will enable you to be considered for need-based federal and state grants, scholarship, loans, and work study. Lincoln's priority filing date for the FAFSA is April 1. Students who have completed a FAFSA by this date will be considered first for financial aid. Note: International students are not eligible to submit an application for Federal Student Aid.

For every student, financial clearance means demonstrating your intent to pay all tuition, fees, room, meal, and related charges for a given semester.
Financial clearance can mean different things for different students. For some, it may mean completing the FAFSA, and/or submitting proof that a third party such as the VA, Voc. Rehab, an employer, 529 plan, or other third-party payer is paying all or a portion of their semester charges. For others, it may mean creating a payment plan. Simply put, financial clearance means that each student should take the required steps necessary to either pay their charges in full or make arrangements to cover their total LU charges for the given semester.

All incoming students are required to undergo a physical examination. You will need to submit the Health History & Physical Examination form prior to your arrival on campus and/or the start of the academic semester. This Health History section of the form must be completed by an authorized medical personnel and include the required immunization records.
You will not be permitted to register for your courses and/or be allowed to reside in the residence halls if you are not in compliance with the Pennsylvania State Health Department.

Now that you’ve made the commitment to be a Lion, you’re probably excited to figure out where you will live on campus. All students must complete the following to receive a housing assignment for your intended start term (Fall or Spring):
You will need to submit your official final high school transcript demonstrating satisfactory academic progress and graduation. Additionally, an official college transcript from all prior attended institutions, either while in high school or as a full time student must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. Ask the registrar of each respective institution to send your transcript directly to Lincoln University.

After you have been admitted to Lincoln, you are eligible to submit the acceptance deposit. Your acceptance letter will include your unique log-in credentials for the deposit payment portal. You should pay the deposit as soon as possible so you can submit your request for housing and continue the steps for enrollment.
Your student ID number is located on your digital and/or mailed acceptance letter. View your acceptance letter in your Lincoln Admissions Portal. If you cannot locate it, please contact the Office of Admissions.
Financial aid and financial clearance are NOT the same. If you are planning to use financial aid to help cover expenses, financial clearance happens AFTER your financial aid package is completed. This will include submitting all required paperwork; accepting or declining loans; completing entrance counseling; and signing the Master Promissory Notes.
